A sunny fall Saturday morning in lower Manhattan saw the return on CarPark to the elevated Fosun Plaza. Around 70 vehicles made it up the ramp and were on display. The plaza was divided up into sections featuring a 911 ring, a supercar area, a vintage collection, radwood era and 4×4’s.
As with past CarPark events, there’s always a few unexpected vehicles that roll in. Hard to miss was the cute overload purple Daihatsu Midget with a Citroen conversion. The single seater cargo kei blends vintage french design with a pop art interior in tiny Japanese micro car proportions.
A couple stars on the vintage collection were a black Austin Healey 100 m and a stately 1935 Rolls-Royce Phantom. Both share elegant lines and refined details for their day.
Lastly, tucked in the corner was a pristine looking red Ferrari Dino. Still to this day, the Dino is one of the most beautiful cars to come out of Marinello.
