Attack of the Racks IV | CarPark

CarPark and Classic Car Club Manhattan teamed up for the fourth edition of Attack of the Racks, a meetup dedicated to all things automotive storage accessories. In typical Racks fashion, CarPark set the bar high for vehicle curation with participants ranging from a bike on a bike (motorcycle and road bicycle combo) to a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato. The most extreme was surely the matte black Porsche Cayenne camera car that’s typically a fixture of film and TV shoots around the streets on NYC.

Continuing with the Hollywood thread, my personal favorites were a pair of 80s era sci-fi inspired Porsche 911s. First a platinum metallic Fallout-inspired 911 SC. The whale tail had Vault-Tec and radiation warning graphics and a roof rack complete with mock Gieger counters and sensors.

Bearing the license plate TAT2INE, a weathered white cabriolet channeled Star Wars vibes. This grungy futuristic take on a safari version had a hood mounted spare tire, sand recovery boards, and a seriously robust trailer hitch. A close look also revealed some lovely discrete graphics and bright red functional details.
