The annual Greenwich Concours d’Elegance brings together some of the rarest and most pristine vintage and collector cars from the US east coast. For the 25th anniversary edition held in the fall of 2021, Lancia and Allard were the featured marks. The impressive range of Lancias spanned from several pre-war Aprilias, one of the first cars ever designed with the aid of a wind tunnel, to the iconic Stratos.
Celebrating the 75-anniversary founding of British brand Allard, 16 examples of coupes, open tops and race cars were on view. These are some lesser know cars great to study for their use of full forms and flowing lines.
Sensory overload kicked in pretty quickly walking around the grounds of Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, Connecticut. There never seems to be enough time at a concours show to fully appreciate all the design fine points of each car. Consider this photo gallery an overview of what caught our eyes.
